Zelda : Echoes of Wisdom – Comment vaincre les talus sismiques | Patron des ruines de Suthorn

Conquering the Earthquake Talus to Free Suthorn’s Ruins

In the grand fortress of Suthorn, the first stronghold in the world of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Link must venture beyond the scope of action-adventure to defeat the Earthquake Talus. Unlike previous boss battles, Zelda has brief access to a sword to fight directly, but must use the powers of Echoes to overcome this monumental adversary. Instead of directly attacking, use your allies to attack the giant stone structure and reduce it to size, then judiciously use your sword gauge to eliminate it. Here’s how to do it.

Echoes Power Play

To defeat the Earthquake Talus, use your Echoes’ abilities to create a storm of Keese, massive swarms of biting flying creatures. With each Echo summoned, the Talus will become increasingly disoriented and vulnerable to attack. While the Talus pounds the ground, use Echoes to create a localized earthquake, weakening its stone body. When the stone crumbles, the Keese will swarm and further erode the Talus’ defenses.

Summon the Keese

Use the Keese to besiege the Talus’ weak points, focusing on its exposed core. Whenever the Talus unleashes a powerful attack, avoid it and use the echo of the sword to momentarily stun it. When the Keese have depleted their health, the Talus will stumble, leaving openings for Link to strike its exposed core.

Epic Confrontation

Phase 1: Upon the Talus’ core appearing, use the echo of the sword to blast it, and then target its exposed core. During this phase, the Talus will become increasingly weakened.

Phase 2: In the second phase, the core will shift to the Talus’ right shoulder. Use the Echoes to create a hail of Keese, bombarding the shoulder and draining its strength. As the Keese swarm, link’s sword gauge will rise, allowing him to target the Talus’ vital core.

Phase 3: In the final stage, the core will erupt from the Talus’ forehead. Summon Keese once more to swarm its head, further weakening it. When the Talus becomes disoriented, unleash the echo of the sword to deliver the finishing blow.

Healing from the Fray

Link must conserve his health to withstand the Talus’ ferocious attacks. Heed the echoes of distant whispers, and break pots around the arena to spawn healing hearts. Avoid prolonged exposure to the Talus’ attacks, as their intensity will quickly deplete Link’s health.

Rewards and Triumph

Defeating the Earthquake Talus will reward Link with a full heart container and unlock the path forward in the quest. Zelda will finally be able to repair the ancient structures blocking the way to Hyrule, and the ruins of Suthorn will finally be freed. With his newfound strength, Link can progress in his journey, harnessing the power of his allies to overcome the obstacles ahead.
